Website InfoMil renewed

The website www.infomil.nl/uk has been renewed. The new site looks fresh and green and is now intune with the guidelines for websites of the Dutch governement. The structure has been improved aswell as the search engine.

Netherlands Emission Guidelines for Air

The Netherlands Emission Guidelines for Air (NeR) is a national guideline, aimed at harmonising the environmental permits in the Netherlands with respect to abatement of emissions to the air. For this purpose the NeR gives emission standards that agree with the Best Available Techniques.

Best Available Techniques, BREFs and IPPC

InfoMil supports the implementation of the BAT reference documents (BREFs) in The Netherlands by integrating the BREFs in the Netherlands Emission Guidelines for Air (NeR) and the guidelines of the Commission on Integrated Water Management (LBOW). Furthermore, InfoMil provides information about the implications of the BREFs and the IPPC Directive to the competent authorities.

Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive

The Council Directive 91/271/EEC concerning urban waste-water treatment was adopted on 21 May 1991. It's objective is to protect the environment from the adverse effects of discharges and discharges from certain industrial sectors (see Annex III of the Directive) and concerns the collection, treatment and discharge of: Domestic waste water, Mixture of waste water and Waste water from certain industrial sectors (see Annex III of the Directive)

Action plan on industrial fine particle emissions

The Action Plan on Industrial Fine Particle Emissions is an elaboration of the National Air Quality Cooperation Programme ( NSL), which aims to improve air quality in the Netherlands in the years to come and to achieve timely compliance with the limit values for PM10 and NO2.
