Guideline Dutch decree on emission limits for combustion plants

Inhoud pagina: Guideline Dutch decree on emission limits for combustion plants

The Guideline Bees A provides an explanation of the use of the Dutch decree on emission limits for combustion plants (Bees A), wich is the Dutch implementation of the European directive for Large Combustion Plants (2001/80/EC). Falling under Bees A are combustion installations in large logistic units, such as power stations and large chemical companies.

The Guideline Bees A provides an explanation of the use of the Dutch decree on emission limits for combustion plants, environmental management A (Bees A), in particular concerning the more complex aspects thereof. Bees A is the Dutch implementation of the European directive 2001/80/EC (LCP directive).

The guideline explains the standards that apply to SO2, NOx and dust for combustion installations subject to Bees A. Instructive tables have been added and overviews included in appendices. Appendix 1 gives an overview of logistic units to which Bees A applies. Appendix 2 gives a flow diagram of the scope of Bees A. Appendix 3 specifies the prevalent emission standards.

With regard to the measurement of emissions it is useful to read the Guideline Bees A in combination with the Manual Measurement of air emissions (InfoMil publication no. LB40).
