Inspection and enforcement

This part of the website offers infomation about the IMPEL network and the titled "Doing the right things", in wich the Netherlands (VROM Inspectorate) developed a step-by-step guidance book for planning of environmental inspections. This guidance book was developed to support inspecting authorities in carrying out that difficult task.

Pursuant to the Recommendation providing for minimum criteria for environmental inspections (RMCEI) all inspection activities should be planned in advance. Practitioners have expressed the need for guidance to help the implementation of the minimum criteria on planning in the RMCEI. This guidance book was produced for that purpose.
